Nine Ira Jones MS students to participate in All-State chorus

Plainfield – Nine Ira Jones Middle School sixth graders will perform with the 2023 Illinois Music Education Association Elementary All-State Chorus in Peoria on January 28, 2023.

The chorus is made up of sixth graders who were nominated by their instructors.

Students will rehearse and perform at the Peoria Civic Center on Saturday, January 28, 2023.

The one-day elementary school chorus event is held in conjunction with the Illinois Music Education Association’s state conference and all-state student programs for high school students.

Karen Blair is the choir director at Ira Jones Middle School.
