Ira Jones Middle School National Junior Honor Society is hosting its third annual Family Game Night from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023 to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Families can enjoy free carnival games, bingo, and face painting.
Families can buy concessions or raffle tickets for baskets supplied by the school’s parent teacher organization.
Eighth-grade NJHS students use their leadership skills to plan the event.
They help advertise and promote the event, and create the carnival games, said Andrea Medina, seventh and eighth-grade English language arts teacher and NJHS advisor.
Other school clubs including Student Council, the We Act Club, and the Art Club will help with concessions, face painting, and hosting a service project families can complete between playing games.
Last year the event raised about $3,000 for St. Jude.
Ira Jones is located at 15320 Wallin Drive.
